At Norton Broker Services, we always look to find ways of helping our introducers to drive business forward.
At the forefront of this effort are our Broker Account Managers, who travel around the country, visiting our introducers to discuss our products, processes and the perks of being a broker with Norton Broker Services.
David Binney, Eddie Lau and Jimmy Allen are not afraid of a long drive to deliver both goodie bags and knowledge of our products and services. Their aim as Broker Account Managers is to forge beneficial relationships with our registered introducers.
Each Broker Account Manager brings something different to the team, although each has a thorough knowledge of the finance markets. Eddie joined the team from the Norton Mortgages department, allowing us (and our brokers) to utilise his knowledge of our mortgage panel.
Despite being the newest member of the team, David has thrown himself into the role and, in February 2016, he represented the company at the Tenet Group MCD Roadshow Events.
Jimmy Allen, who is our longest-serving Broker Account Manager, has all the knowledge required to fully inform our brokers about the sale of second charge loans. However, if you fancy a chat about something a little more recreational, football would be Jimmy’s specialist subject.
As a team, we are aware that the recent changes relating to the Mortgage Credit Directive have brought a huge range of second charge products into the picture for many independent finance brokers. Our knowledge of the secured loan markets and products can help introducers to gain a better understanding of these products, some of which may previously have been unfamiliar to them. We aim to help our introducers to gain a better understanding of when a secured loan could be a better option for the client compared to a remortgage.
If you feel that you and your team may benefit from a visit from one of our Broker Account Mangers to discuss the Norton processes, please call 01709 321 665 to speak to the team. Alternatively you can email broker.services@norton-finance.co.uk and request a call back.
